Afriso Ema AB, a Swedish company which distributes Honeywell Analytics gas detection equipment, has sold over 150 Impulse X4 portable gas detection units to fuel station sub-contractors across Sweden.
The company, which already has strong connections to the fuel supply industry, has been working closely with a number of fuel distribution companies to provide personal protective gas detection equipment. Tomas Thörnberg, Sales Manager Gas Detection for Afriso Ema AB comments on this recent sales success being achieved by a number of factors including a well established relationship with the industry and a superior product offering. “Thanks to our Level Products - overfill prevention and oil separator alarms - we have a good position in the market and happy customers. When the need for portable multi-gas instruments came up, the fuel supply companies felt that Afriso Ema AB was ideally suited to serve their needs. The Impulse X4 is one of the best portable multi-gas detectors in its class, and its impressive functionality also assisted in the sale of so many units.
Afriso Ema AB has been a distributor of Honeywell Analytics equipment since the early 1980s. Tomas Thörnberg comments on a fruitful and long-standing relationship. “The fixed and portable gas detection instrumentation from Honeywell Analytics is excellent and well received by the market place. In addition to the products themselves, it’s our service commitment which sets us apart from our competitors. What our customers often mention is our unbeatable service level for the portable gas detectors. We have a service system that takes responsibility for the service reminder so the customer doesn’t have to remember himself, and this is very well received. In addition to our service commitment and superior product offering, we also attribute our success to adopting a customer focused sales approach. Rather than just selling equipment, we provide a total gas detection solution to our customers.
Impulse X4 is an unsurpassed portable gas detector for protection against flammable, oxygen, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide gas hazards. It’s ideal for use by those wanting advanced performance, reliability and ease of use without the high costs of long term maintenance. Everything that a user routinely has to do can be achieved with a single button press!
The Impulse X4 has the capability to log data using a simple-to-fit memory card (the type you get in a digital camera). Events, gas data and the calibration history are all stored and the free software downloaded from our website enables you to graph or print reports at the press of a button. Convenience and the way users want to work is an important consideration. When clipped to the belt or harness, users may want the re-assurance of being able to view the display from different positions. But with many other units the display is upside down forcing the user to remove the unit to look at the display, perhaps creating a hazard. The Impulse X4 users can ‘flip’ the display at the press of a button for that added convenience and safety.
With an ultra-clear backlit display, vibrating and powerful audiovisual alarms, the Impulse X4 demands attention when gas hazards are detected in even the most adverse working conditions.
